A mannequin is lying in a bathtub. Its head is dipped under the blood-red water; both arms and one leg are dismembered; and the other leg is raised over the tub. In this space looking like a horrifying scene of a mutilation murder case, Nam June Paik looks down upon the tub wearing a black garment and a white mask. When referring to the texts on Moving Theater, these types of space installation and performance seem related to political situations. In his first exhibition, Paik surprised many by installing a combination of political awareness and the structure of horror movies.
