This is a drawing for Good Morning Mr. Orwell, where a phrase “Rendez-vous céleste” is written on top. There are two sets of three televisions, with “Paris” written for the left and “N.Y.” for the right. And from the bottom, the boomerang forms that Paik often employed to symbolize a TV antenna are flying upwards to converge to “Rendez-vous céleste.” In an essay Paik wrote about Good Morning Mr. Orwell, he explains that a project of satellite art bringing together the great geniuses, the earthly stars who never met each other or worked together before, is “a high-tech version of the legend of Altair and Vega.”
