As if a quick sketch in order to conceive a work, this drawing uses a notebook page with a ballpoint pen. It looks like an ordinary landscape at a glance, but if you take a closer look at it, you can find out key elements of Nam June Paik’s works. Antennas erected on the roof run parallel with large trees whose visual similarity forms a harmonious landscape, and this embodies Paik’s way of thinking technology and nature in a single frame. What is represented above takes after his work Moon is the Oldest TV, in which a crescent moon and a television containing the image of a crescent moon parade alternately upwards.
