LESSON 1. MY DANGEROUS MUSIC
John Cage paved the way for the environment to be able to turn into usic,
while Nam June Paik showed action music that sound is played by the actions of the performers. You can appreciate the new world of sound that John Cage and Nam June Paik had expanded, and explore the space, then discover the sound of environment. So you can practice a Fluxus play by writing a score that makes it possible for you to express what you’ve discovered in your own way, and by playing it with your body. You can learn the ordinariness and subversiveness which is the important topic of contemporary art to Fluxus artists who have dreamed of integrating life with art through this.
