Ahn is a dancer and choreographer, who juxtaposes colorful costume elements of Korean traditional dance and modern aesthetics. Her works are a combination of music, language, and dance that are inherent in her and her company’s dancers. Studying in Korea and New York, Eun Me Ahn is performing her own dance around the world as one of the most progressive and distinguished choreographers in Asia. Her main works reinterpret inspiration received from well-known traditional stories in a modern way; her choreography combines splendid costumes with unique music to create original performances.
